Ensure Accurate Results
The patient should fast for 8–12 hours prior to the collection of the specimen. Stay hydrated and take your medications as prescribed. If you are supplementing with any hormones, we suggest taking them approximately 5 days prior to having your blood drawn to see peak levels. Hormones are best drawn between 7 and 10 a.m.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Contact 925-858-4429 to acquire a lab with a PYA member. For inquiries after 6PM PST, please send an email request to Info@PrimeYouthAesthetics.com
- Schedule a virtual appointment with the provider and be sure to review your email for instruction.
- If you are new to our practice, please complete the New Patient Registration to activate your Patient Portal. Existing patients login to your Patient Portal.
- Once logged into your portal, ensure to fill out all forms listed under “Action Required.”
- Once you have completed all forms, kindly send us an email, and you can expect confirmation within 24-hours.
- Visit Quest Diagnostics to schedule your lab appointment, and don’t forget to bring your ID.
- Once your labs are drawn, please allow 5-7 business days for results.
- Your results will be forwarded to you, and the provider will discuss them with you during your virtual appointment, which you scheduled in step 2 above.
If you prefer an in-person appointment to discuss your lab or inquire about hormone replacement, you can schedule a consultation with our provider. Please note that an additional fee applies for this service.
If your results are abnormal, we advise that you seek medical attention.
The estimated turnaround for results is 7–10 business days. If confirmation testing is required, the estimated time may be extended.
